If there is one thing I cannot stand, it is ignorance.

Let me define ignorance as I am using it here, because it seems to be a word that many people have many definitions/connotations for. My definition carries a strong, negative connotation, as you may have noticed. In my mind, ignorance is the ability to maintain an opinion while maintaining the inability to defend it. 

The baseless argument holds no weight. How can you expect to sway another by hot air? If you can, then what does that say about your followers? They are believing you blindly and do not think for themselves. Having faith in something doesn’t mean you cannot be critical. Nothing on this earth is perfect - because everything on this earth has either been created by man (certainly an imperfect being cannot give rise to perfection, just look at Dr. Frankenstein) or is part of an imperfect Nature. Everything that does not arise from sound and valid logic can have flaws. Therefore, why not make everything that comes from your mouth be based on sound and valid logic?

Do not spew nonsense everywhere and expect me (or any other sane, self-respecting individual) to follow you without some proof. I will ask you why; if you cannot answer, then that is your fault alone. Do not even try to use the excuse that no one ever gave you a reason, because that just excludes you from the set of all sane, self-respecting individuals.

So defend yourself! Why should I take your side? What makes your opinion more valid than my own? It had better be based on more than hearsay, because if it is, you have a storm coming.

And yes, whoever made that spelled ‘brethren’ wrong; it’s an imperfect creation brought forth by an imperfect being, but a win anyway, no?

Either I doubt myself or I doubt you; Help me distinguish between the two…

How can a person believe in God and then proceed to describe theirself as ‘not religious’? You are quite literally ignoring God. I have no idea of the pretext for your theory, but at any rate - what has He been doing? If you say He created a little amoeba and then left it alone for upwards of 3 billion years, why would He allow such a viral falsehood as His Word would become? If you say He created each individual species - including our own - how could you possibly deny His impact? I see - it must have been like ‘o hey thanks for giving me life and all that I really appreciate it… waits… You know the polite thing to do would be like ‘hey no problem’… Ridiculous! If you say that He merely created the Universe and let it run like a clock, I ask you: why? Why would He bother creating anything without purpose? How could He bear to see the horrible situation we have gotten ourself into and not send help? What father lets his son expose himself to danger and does not offer him any advice or support? 

How then can one believe that God created anything and then proceeds to say ‘hey, not My problem’ when we screw it up?

How can we accept every part of the Bible except the miraculous parts?
